The Chief Justice is dead

Bill Rehnquist, who was first appointed to the Supreme Court by Tricky Dickie back in 1971 has bit the dust at the age of 80. He lived a long and mostly useful life, although his anti-constitution stand on some issues was for the most part quite obnoxious.

So now Bushie has a second seat to fill. He might give the Chief's job to that evil genius Antonin Scalia and give Scalia's old seat to someone else, or just give the Chief's job to some new guy. But all we know is that it's going to be some anti-rights troglodyte. That should make the Republicans even less popular in the red states.
