I've just spent almost two grand for a week in Miami and the Cayman Islands. That's what happens at the last minute and you go by yourself. Everything is "per person at double occupancy" or twice what you spend going by yourself.
the prices went up while I was making the reservation. Twice. NOT FAIR. But I'll spend the better part of the week covering the prescreenings at the Miami Film festival. More on that later.
Finally, I've at last figured out how to get rid of that pesky spam in the comments page. Hooray!
